Although there are numerous tea that is said or believed that it is helping to heal the liver, these things are not 100% confirmed by medical studies. But one of the tea for which we have evidence to help heal the fatty liver is green tea.
Green tea contains a charitable amino acid for the liver – EGCG – which reduces the inflammation of this organ, while helping weight loss and reducing the level of fat in the liver.
These data were confirmed in 2008 here, following a study that stretched for 16 weeks. The results of the study have been encouraging, showing scientists that green tea has beneficial effects on the liver.
In addition, we have a series of 10 studies in the United States and China, all conducted in recent years in the idea of testing the effects of green tea on the body. 8 of the 10 studies have concluded that this tea really has beneficial and protective effects on the liver, demonstrating a clear relationship between the consumption of green tea and the breeding of liver problems (source here).
We can only enjoy this! Green tea is not only delicious, but also healthy for the liver – scientifically proven.
It helps us not only to have a certain diversification when it comes to the things we can drink (when we get tired of lemon water), but it also gives us help in healing liver steatosis.

But I wouldn’t go very far with the glorification of this tea. Even if the studies show positive effects on the liver, this does not mean that we can continue a chaotic lifestyle, with unhealthy food and get rid of the fatty liver that drinks a daily tea.
An appropriate diet (like the one I recommend here) is still essential.
But, very important, we still have a weapon in Arsenal, a weapon that will help us to heal ourselves faster. So if green tea was not already a drink consumed daily, it could become one!
Better in a better way, we combine green tea with silimarine supplements, with exercise and an adequate diet in which we slide as many superfood for the liver and we are on the right way!
How to drink green tea if you suffer from liver steatosis
Preparing this drink is not who knows what engineering. In hot water, we put a tea envelope, which we leave for 2-3 minutes, then drink the “magical” liqueur.
During the summer, we can prepare the infusion in a small amount of water, on which we can therefore add water from the refrigerator or from the ice cubes. So, we can refresh ourselves if the situation asks for it!
It is important here is to consume green tea without sugar (extremely harmful to the liver) and without sweeteners. He has a pleasant and unsweetened taste, which gives him bonus points.
I don’t think the benefits of this tea disappear if we combine it with other flavors, as natural.
Personally I like drinking green tea with peppermint. But in stores we find many combinations, so it is impossible not to find something in your taste.
The most important thing is that all the ingredients are natural and tea itself does not drink sugary. You can also add a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice for added Vitmin.

What is the best green tea for liver steatosis?
Until tea is natural, any brand is perfect.
It should be borne in mind that some teas are considered full of pesticides – and that’s exactly why we don’t need to suffer from our liver.
For this reason, if it is not too much financial effort, biological tea would be safer, with (at least in theory) less pesticides.
Personally, I have two favorite brands that Alterro and that I find easily in the supermarket: green and green Lipaton green tea. These are two brands of tea which, although not organic, are the certainty that is maintained and packaged correctly, resulting in a healthy drink, not one that hurts more than well.
But, as I said, everyone can test and choose what the brand wants. And if you prefer to shop online directly in the shop, Vegis is the place where you will find a varied offer of organic and delicious green teas.
Conclusion
I managed to treat the fatty liver and green tea was one of the drinks that I consumed almost every day.
Of course, not only did he attribute my success, because I followed a rigorous diet, I ate very healthy and I made a move – but at the same time I am sure he contributed, at least a little.
In the worst case, it has no effect. But as long as it does not hurt, it is a welcome addition because the variety of drinks that we can consume with liver steatosis is not so high.
In conclusion, green tea is a recommended drink in the fight against fat, supported by studies in previous years.
Even if there is, in no case, any type of wonderful medicine, it does not hurt to consume it every day, especially if we like the taste.
