1/ Stop news consumption

The news is bad news at 95%. Because it is the frightening and frightening information that sells, which regularly reports readers / listeners.

You are quite informed. You have to limit the time spent in front of the information. 10 minutes maximum a day. MAXIMUM.

And on factual platforms, without prejudice. AFP, AP, Reuters for example. Simple. Without ideological prism. 10 minutes on AFP per day is enough to know the main business.

If you are interested in a subject: go to the bottom of things. Read 2 or 3 books on the subject, listen to the podcasts in which an expert is interviewed in depth. Stop the permanent consumption of news.

2/ Drastically limits your time on social networks

I know it is increasingly difficult because algorithms are always stronger to register in front of the screen.

You must be stronger than this and limit the time of social media to 20 minutes a day. Enough. You can configure your Instagram and Facebook, for example to see only the accounts you follow.

You can insert consumer notices on your smartphone so that the app is cut after 20 minutes of use every day.

Personally it is what I implemented. No more than 20 minutes. It is very short.

And I try to use it almost just to communicate you, to talk to you about sport and healthy lifestyle. Publish only 1 or 2 times a day of the stories I recorded during the day. Enough.

And my life is changing. Truly.

Once again you must be disciplined. Because everything pushes us to remain blocked in the infinite scrolling of the content chosen to combine us perfectly. But stop. These networks have become counterproductive and prevent you from living your life.

3/ Make sports

It is the number 1 anti -depressant. Walk every time, from 5 minutes of effort. Although it’s just to walk for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. Here we are. We really do it. Not only “1 or 2 days a week is already good.” No

We really put sport in our life. Focusing mainly on pleasure. Pleasure pleasure. What sport do you like? Orient your practice around what you like.

And then: try to progress. Because feeling more and more competent in the sport we like: it increases the pleasure of practicing it, increases the secretions of the hormone of happiness and relaxation. So first pleasure. So progression in this pleasure.

You have to stop with “the work value” that prevails above all. I also paid the price, you too. It doesn’t work in the long term.

We work, yes, ideally we like our job. And above all we direct it on its “lifestyle value”.

We can no longer accept that the work kills us, that work requires all our time, our brain available, our free time.

I think the younger generations have understood very well. And even more you ask that their work allows you to live a comfortable free time.

Ok, but that this clear time is not used to isolate itself in the consumption of news, isolation and coherent social networks. That this time it is used to practice sports, to cook homemade, to spend pleasant moments with others, to create … music, beautiful events, new ideas. Which keep us in a mental state in which life deserves to be lived, where the simple and pleasant moments largely supplant permanent stress.

5 / See your friends / family / unknown

Social relations are your best medicines. Drinking a blow (no more than 2 glasses of alcohol and not every day) with friends: it protects you from all anxieties, stress and observes your psychobiology.

You will have better muscle recovery, you will be less sick if you see friends regularly. And even if it is not really a friend, only acquaintances. For example, employees of a shop you say hello, goodbye or share 2-3 words on Wednesday during shopping. They play a role in your mental regulation.

It is true that we are tempted to send only a small message to an old friend that we haven’t seen for a long time. But it is not the same as seeing it in real life. And there is the face that cuts the pear halfway.

Reconnect with friendship, those around the simple and understanding man. As if your life depended on it. Because it depends on it 🙂
